A true Kingston classic, Chez Piggy has been around forever and for good reason. Love the summer patio and light lunch options. It was hard to choose what to order but I settled on the seared ahi tuna salad with noodles and veg. It was light, fresh and tasty, but I would prefer a little more sauce or a little more kick. But whatever, there’s always another friend to catch up with and another dish to try at Chez Piggy.
My taste buds have never been as happy and satisfied as they were the night I took my Dad out for supper at Chez Piggy. And the atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a hint of relaxation. Perfect for either a quick knosh before work or a romantic dinner for two! Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff who definitely know how to make you feel welcomed. The delicious menu choices made it hard to choose, but I finally ordered Scallops and Bubbles. After munching on some of the best sour dough bread I have ever had, hot and fresh from the oven, I could hardly contain myself as my plate was laid in front of me. It was perfect. A wonderful and delectable sight and smell! Pea Risotto in a Prosecco and lemon sauce, with pea sprouts and crispy pancetta under 5 of the biggest scallops I have ever seen! The flavors were absolutely gorgeous! And it was all I could do to contain my myself from devouring my meal with vigor! I highly recommend visiting Chez Piggy at least once in your lifetime...I can guarantee it won't be your last!
Highly recommend this restaurant for almost anyone. Great small menu, unique good food choices, friendly and somewhat quirky staff. Had our lunch on the patio and possibly the best atmosphere I have experienced dining. I will be back! The next time I'm definitely going to get the beef dip as it looked Divine but had something else.
The waitress was very nice but needs some training. She interrupted our conversation a few times to ask us about the food (twice) and reached in front of me to fill my water. She must have filled our water at least 4 times which is unnecessary. I prefer that water be left on the table or wait until our water glasses are empty before having my conversation constantly interrupted by more water being poured. She asked to have us pay our bill before we were done but did say that we could stay. Normally the service is excellent and not intrusive so she may be new.
Had a wonderful family dinner at Chez Piggy! Our server, Elyse, was fabulous. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The little piggy butt on the espresso martini was the highlight of the meal! So cute! Highly recommend.
The restaurant has a very unique sense of style. The food is delicious and does not take very long to get to the table. The servers and workers are lovely and very considerate! The restaurant as a whole is a very nice hidden gem!
Most recently, we celebrated a significant family birthday with a group of friends at Chez Piggy. The whole experience was easy and completely enjoyable, from the reservation to the evening itself. Our server, Jenny, was wonderful and looked after every detail efficiently and always pleasantly. We couldn't have asked for a better time.
